In an effort to bring Internet access to the less fortunate, Intel has announced plans for a sub-$400 laptop and an aggressive billion dollar educational initiative. The moves by Intel are intended to the give the company a hand into new markets that targets a lower middle class segment as well as bigger hand into the rich educational market. The new Intel design, to be called Eduwise, will include software for the classrooms. Makers of the computers should be announced later this week.
