WWE, that's World Wrestling Entertainment, which by the way still remains heavily popular with a segment of the teen and college male audience, plans to launch a series of mobile initiatives. WWE plans to produce up to 75 new short videos each month, which will be available for customers of all major wireless networks including Cingular and Verizon Wireless. The videos will be sold to consumers directly by the WWE as well as through existing video-subscription packages sold by the wireless carriers themselves. In addition to the video content, the WWE mobile plans also call for a series of new alerts, ringtones and wallpapers.
